TRANSVERSE
SECTION OF A LEAF UNDER A MICROSCOPE
|

|
Also, I observed stomata cells, in the process of experimenting the transverse section of a leaf. Stomata refers to a small or minute pores that can be found on the epidermis of a leaf. These pores vary in size and allow, for the movement of water and gases in and out of the intercellular spaces of the leaf. Stomata cells are enclosed by two kidney shaped cells, called 'guard cells'. While viewing under the microscope, I observed the vascular bundle,which helps in transportation of important materials to the various parts of the leaf. It contains mainly of two parts. They are, 'xylem' [ which is responsible for the transportation of water] and 'phloem' [ which is responsible for the transportation of food materials prepared by the process of photosynthesis to the other parts of the plants]. |

EQUALITY VS EQUITY |
||
|
Conversely, Equality denotes provision of same resources to all people, i.e. it is the state of being the same when it comes to status, rights and opportunities. In this page you may find the important differences between equity and equality. Equality is about
everyone is treated in the same way, without giving any effect to their
need and requirements. Equality is the lifeline of the democratic society;
that aims to prevent discrimination and provides an equal opportunity
to all. It can be racial equality, equality between rich and poor, men
and women, etc. The central idea of equality is that all the individuals
gets equal treatment in the society and are not discriminated on the basis
of race, sex, caste, creed, nationality, disability, age, religion and
so forth. The main intention of preparing the poster on this particular subject is that before following or creating equality, equity should be created first. |
