Sana Fathima
Hello. I'm Sana Fathima, Nineteen years old, living in Hyderabad, India. We are six members in our family. My Father's name is (Late) Mohammed Shakeel Ahmed. My mother's name is Asiya Begum, she is a home maker. We are three sisters and one elder brother. My elder brother's name is Mohammed Mumtaz Ahmed, who is a small entrepreneur, and two elder sister's. Shahanaz Fathima. who is pursuing her degree 2nd year in Sri Vidya Degree College and Sania Fathima who is also pursuing her degree 1st year in Gauthami Junior College.

I finished my Intermediate successfully in Gauthami Junior College with good score. I'm now preparing for NEET entrance exam (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). It is a single-level national exam carried out for medical aspirants from platform Career, 360 platform. My subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology). I thank my school and college for giving me lots of memories, I also thank all my teachers who taught us Moral values and ethics and I would like to thank my volunteer teacher Rakesh Raju sir, for conducting private classes online. Last but not least, I also like to show my gratitude to Tom Holloway, an IBM Computer Consultant from Oxford, who helps us and conducts online classes through zoom as a platform.

LIFE IN HYDERABAD
 

Every day, morning morning the smell of Hyderabadi Irani chai wakes up my mind. The tiffins of Pragathi Nagar runs in my stomach. Hyderabad, city of busy roads & heavy traffic, with conconcrete jungle spreads everywhere, makes me feel tantilising sometimes. Hyderabad known for its two amazing things Biryani and Charminar. As the smell of Biryani, even I wanted to smell delicious to everyone. The minars of Charminar always inspires me to reach heights in my life. The history of Nizams and Nawabs interests me all the time. The gallies of Hyderabad teaches me life is not so easy. The weather of Hyderabad teaches me do not be same all the time. Hyderabadis are known for their sense of humour & wit, are lovely & caring.

All types of religious people live in Hyderabad. They live with unity they celebrate all types of religious festivals like Ganesh chawati, Ramadan, Christmas. Hyderabad people live with brotherhood. In Hyderabad the day starts with Irani chai and with two biscuits of Osamania. Even the poorest and the richest can survive according to their status. Hyderabad has more employment opportunities that's why there are many migrants living in Hyderabad.

Above all, the Nizams ruled the place where the delicious food and famous Biryani are available. People come from different corners of the world just to feel the beauty of this Hyderabad.

Visit Hyderabad once, it is one of the beautiful cities of the world. In Hyderabad there are many historical monuments to visit and many delicious dishes to taste. You can see unity in diversity in Hyderabad. It has got a big history.
 
 
 
Hyderabad water problems - sometimes not enough, but sometimes too much!
 

The recent floods in Hyderabad due to heavy rains on 13th & 14th of October 2020, caused severe damage to Hyderabad homes.

The heavy rain turned the city of Hyderabad upside down. Many families were affected. The rain water gushed into homes & made each home a small pond.

 
The river of Musi overflowed & the gates of Himayath Sagar were lifted after many years. This is the 2nd huge flood that Hyderabad witnessed after the heavy floods in the year 1908. Over 37,000 families across the city were affected by this second flood.
 

A lot of NGO'S along with the Telangana government came forward to help the needy and the victims of the flood. A lot of NGOs extended their helping hand in providing the basic commodities to the flood affected victims. The Government of Telangana gave an amount of Rs. 10,000/- to the victims of the flood.

Even our own family also got affected as you can see if you watch this video of our home situation because of the floods.
