I am Modampuri Rakesh Raju, nineteen years old, living in Balanagar, Hyderabad, India. My family includes five members, that is my father Modampuri Ranga Raju, who works as a security guard in IDPL company, my mother, Modampuri Radha, a home maker and my younger brother Achi, who is about to finish his grade-10 final examinations. I also recently adopted a lovely puppy, Manchu.

I am currently pursuing my graduation in Arts at NGDC Khairatabad College of Hyderabad, which is affiliated to Osmania University. I chose to pursue Bachelor of Arts which falls under the category of Social Sciences as I found myself very fascinated towards learning the subjects like History, Political Science & Public Administration.

During my second year in Diploma in Civil Engineering, I have started my teaching career. I initially worked for IDPL High School for one academic year and taught the subjects Biology, Physics and Chemistry for classes 8, 9 and 10. Now, I am a volunteer teacher for Rakesh Academy, where I help students from my former school, IDPL. I teach all the subjects, English, Maths, Sciences and Social Studies.

Apart from my academics, I am also good at singing, dancing, writing poetry and playing Tabla (Indian musical instrument). I learnt a little bit of classical singing and Kuchipudi during my schooling.

I also work as a volunteer for several other organisations in Hyderabad like HLF (Hyderabad Literary Festival) which happens once in a year, at L. V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) helping the visually challenged children and worked in many workshops like tactile painting, where a visually challenged child can design an art and can be able to touch and feel.

I also work as an Asst. Organising Secretary for Moving Images (A film lovers club in Hyderabad) who's main moto is to promote and encourage good films in the society.

Finally, last but not the least, I am grateful to Tom Holloway, who is a retired IBM Computer Consultant, for providing this woderful opportunity and platform to introduce myself to the world.

My relationship with Tom as a good friend, started during my schooling. He used to conduct several activities in my school for children of all level age groups like the microscope club, computer club, space club and gardening club are a few to mention. He also donated computers, laptops and plasma telivisions to the school to make the lessons more practical, and visually interesting with the technology.

A charitable school run by ICFAI Foundations. ICFAI really showed a path to many of the students who could not afford for the basic education in the society.

It brought a great change of phase in each and every students life who belong to the poor sections of the society.
